dotCMS Roles and Groups

In dotCMS 1.7 you can assign roles to users by either: a) assigning individual roles to users or; b) assigning roles to groups and assigning groups to users. Don't be surprised if you see roles assigned to users that you can't remove or don't see records for in the users_roles table. It is probably a role assigned through a group.

dotCMS 1.9 discarded the idea of groups.
