Eclipse: cannot open web.xml

I have an IBM Portlet project in RAD. Sometimes I cannot open web.xml. I get the error below when I try. The fix? Restarting RAD has fixed it twice so far...

Unable to create this part due to an internal error. Reason for the failure: An unexpected exception was thrown.

Thanks for the tip (restarting Rad)! I got this annoying phenomenon too.

If, at first instance, restarting doesnt work, then do the following:
1. Open web.xml in RAD, you will see the exception.
2. now re-start the RAD.
You will find the rad opens alongwith web.xml

I have the same problem, but restart doesn't help-instead RAD redirects the editing directly to a standard text editor :(
